Client testimonial

“Esotericism? No. It may look like it, but it is not.”

I have known Johannes Maierhofer for around 20 years. At that time he was still a typical successful executive — constantly on the move, serving many clients. Intelligent, analytical and successful, Johannes worked in planning and consulting for companies such as BMW, Deutsche Bank, Siemens, ALSTOM and many other major companies and multinationals.

Yet Johannes was always attentive, curious and open to deeper questions. One day I met him in Zurich and he told me that he had left his successful executive life to devote himself to a completely new field. The answer came as a shock: Feng Shui.

I could hardly believe it. How could such an intelligent, rational and successful person suddenly become involved in something I associated with esotericism? My own contact with Feng Shui had been limited to magazine articles in hair salons: place a red cushion here, put a water fountain there. To me, it made no sense.

But when Johannes began to explain, I became intrigued. He spoke about energy from the perspective of physics, reaction and transformation from the perspective of chemistry, and the relationship between space, time, objects and geographical location. Suddenly it began to make sense.

At that time my husband and I were building a house. Johannes offered us an analysis — in a way, an energy map of the house. We provided georeferenced photographs, floor plans, the intended placement of furniture and information about who would use each space.

The result felt almost like magic at first. Everything he diagnosed later manifested itself. From simple things to more serious matters, there was no denying it. Esotericism? No. It may look like it, but it is not. Surprisingly, it is pure logic.

For a sceptic like me, it was astonishing. A new world opened up. Today, whenever something is truly important, I do not hesitate: I ask Johannes to take a look. And these days I no longer argue much with what I hear — I follow his recommendations.
